Diskover Co. is a digital distribution and playlist promotion company for artists and labels, registered at Calle de Luis I, 86, 28031 Madrid. The contact details available for the contest are the Instagram accounts @diskover.co and @diskover.studios and the email address alejandro@diskover.co .
To celebrate reaching 10,000 followers on the Instagram account @diskover.co, DISKOVER CO. plans to run a contest on the social network Instagram, which will be carried out in accordance with the following rules.
Taking part in the contest is free and is open to all individuals over 18 who are artists and have a real, active Instagram account. Employees, relatives, representatives, agents or anyone with any kind of connection to the running of the contest or the campaigns to promote it may not take part.
Taking part implies full and absolute acceptance of these rules, and anyone intending to harm or damage the image of the contest or of DISKOVER CO. will be automatically disqualified.
Instagram does not sponsor, endorse or administer this promotion, nor is it associated with it. The user fully releases Meta and is aware that they are providing their information to DISKOVER CO. and not to Instagram. The information provided will be used to manage participation in the contest, announce the prizes and manage the production and distribution of the songs.
2. CONTEST DATES
The contest is aimed at everyone over 18. Participation will open once the Instagram account @diskover.co reaches 10,000 followers and the contest is announced in a post. Entries will be accepted for 2 weeks; once the contest has closed with the closing story, no one else may enter.
3. CONTEST DESCRIPTION
A song demo contest will be held on the social network Instagram. There will be two winners among all the candidates who take part, and the prize will be a studio session with producers Unreleasedx and Kaidez to turn the submitted demo into a professional song. To take part, users must meet the main requirements before sending us the demo of their entry: follow the accounts @diskover.co, @kaidezprod and @unreleasedx, like the contest photo shared on the Instagram profiles @diskover.co and @diskover.studios, comment on it tagging three interested artist friends and, optionally, share the post in their Instagram stories.
Once the above is done, the demo of the song competing in the contest must be sent to alejandro@diskover.co within two weeks of the contest start date. The demo must be unreleased and original. Important: each winner’s song will be distributed by our company. Once the entries have been received and the deadline has closed, a jury made up of members of the DISKOVER CO. team will meet within 15 days to choose the winning song.
The DISKOVER CO. team will contact the winners via Instagram within 10 working days of the prize being awarded, so they can enjoy the service offered, which will expire 3 months after they are notified.
In addition to contacting them directly using the details provided when entering the contest, the winners’ names will be announced on the Instagram profiles @diskover.co and @diskover.studios.
Once the service has been provided, the release dates of the single will be agreed with each artist and the songs will be distributed with DISKOVER CO. in accordance with the company’s policy. Where appropriate, promotion may also be carried out on social media and extra material uploaded, such as the artist’s experience or Behind The Scenes content.
4. CONDITIONS OF ENTRY
To take part in the contest and be eligible for the prize, participants must meet these requirements:
- Be over 18.
- Be an artist. Both artists who work with Diskover and outside artists may enter.
- Take part in the contest through a real, active Instagram profile, with no anomalies and not one that could be considered to have been created solely to take part in the promotion. Therefore, only profiles with the following characteristics will be valid:
- The user must have a profile photo.
- The sponsor reserves the right to disqualify entrant profiles. Particular attention will be paid to fraudulent activity, and profiles showing apparently abusive or malicious behaviour will be excluded or disqualified.
- In the event of any sign of a false identity or fraudulent use of the profile, the organiser reserves the right to disqualify the participant immediately, unilaterally and without any need to notify or give reasons to the participant.
- Follow the Instagram profiles @diskover.co, @kaidezprod and @unreleasedx.
- Like the contest post.
- Comment tagging three interested artist friends (this may be repeated if desired).
- Optionally, share the post in Instagram stories.
- To enjoy the prize, the winners must travel at their own expense to the recording studio located at calle de Luis I, 86, 28031 Madrid, Community of Madrid, Spain.
- To enter the contest, a song demo must be sent to alejandro@diskover.co within two weeks of the contest start date. The demo must be unreleased and original. The song will be distributed by DISKOVER CO. in accordance with the company’s policy.
5. PROMOTION MECHANICS
– Contest entry post: two weeks to send the song demo.
– Stories reminding people of the contest and the deadline.
– Contest closing story.
– Story announcing the winners: once the jury has voted within 15 days and verified the entries, it will contact the winners.
– Possible extra material on social media such as promotion of the single or the artist’s experience / Behind The Scenes.
6. PRIZE
The prize offered by DISKOVER CO. is studio sessions (songwriting, production and recording) for one professional song (the winning demo submitted) with producers Unreleasedx and Kaidez. The number of sessions will be decided as the DISKOVER CO. team sees fit, and it may decide when the work is complete in light of the circumstances. This prize does not include travel from the user’s location to the DISKOVER CO. studio in Madrid.
7. WINNER NOTIFICATION
Once the winners are known, DISKOVER CO. will publish a post sharing the winners’ names on the @diskover.co and @diskover.studio Instagram profiles. By accepting these rules, participants consent to the DISKOVER CO. team publishing their name (or Instagram identity) on Instagram.
8. ASSIGNMENT OF THE WINNER’S IMAGE RIGHTS AND/OR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Both winners are subject to these conditions. The winner agrees that their username and public Instagram profile photos may be published on the organisation’s profiles and other websites to announce the winner of the promotion.
The DISKOVER CO. team will contact the winner within 10 working days via Instagram in order to formally notify them that they have won the Prize (hereinafter, the “Winner Notification”) and agree the date on which it will be provided. In this regard, the DISKOVER CO. team reserves the right to ask the winner to provide any personal data reasonably necessary to deliver the prize. If the winner refuses to provide this personal data and this objectively makes it impossible to give them the prize awarded, the winner will lose their right to the prize, with the effects described below:
If 10 calendar days pass after the DISKOVER CO. team’s first notification to the winner without the DISKOVER CO. team receiving any reply from the winner, or if the winner refuses to provide any of the personal data requested (as set out in the previous paragraph), the winner will lose their right to the prize.
Likewise, any winner who does not meet the eligibility requirements set out in these rules will not be entitled to receive the prize.
The accuracy of all the data provided by the participant is an essential condition for receiving the prize awarded in the promotion. The DISKOVER CO. team is not responsible for the correct delivery of the prize if the data provided is incorrect or incomplete. Any change to the participant’s details must be notified to the DISKOVER CO. team as soon as possible so that the prize can be delivered correctly.
9. CHANGES
The DISKOVER CO. team reserves the right to suspend or change the promotion at any time, and to amend these rules while it is running.
Any suspension, change or amendment to the promotion will be announced with a notice on the Instagram profiles @diskover.co and @diskover.studios . Such suspensions, changes or amendments will in no case entitle current or potential participants in the promotion to make any claim.
10. PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA
Personal data is collected and processed for the following purposes:
– Managing the promotion set out in these rules.
– Delivery and acceptance of the prize by the winning participants.
– Providing the studio session service and distributing the song.
– Possible upload of promotional content related to the contest to social media.

11. DISCLAIMER
The DISKOVER CO. team is released from any liability should there be any error in the data provided by any of the prize-winning participants that prevents them from being identified or the prize from being delivered.

13. GENERAL
If any clause or part of a clause of these rules is or becomes void, unlawful or unenforceable, that clause or part of a clause shall be deemed not to form part of the rules, without in any way affecting the validity, legality or enforceability of the rest of the rules.
In the event of a breach of any of the clauses of these rules, the participant will be automatically disqualified from the promotion and will no longer be eligible for the prize offered.
